Cottage Cheese Pancakes with Oatmeal, Carrots and Cheese
by Editorial Staff
A very interesting version of cottage cheese pancakes – with oatmeal, cheese and carrots. Preparing such an original and tasty dish is not difficult at all. Try it!
Ingredients
Oatmeal flakes – 50 g
Carrots (grated) – 70 g
Low-fat cottage cheese – 260-270 g
Hard cheese – 80 g
Egg – 1 pc.
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
Flour (for breading) – 4 tbsp
Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 tbsp
Directions
Peel the carrots, wash and grate on a fine grater. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Combine cottage cheese, carrots and cheese in a bowl. Add oatmeal, egg, pepper and salt. Mix thoroughly until smooth. It was convenient for me to do it with my hands.
Divide the curd dough for curd cakes into 5 parts. Roll each into a ball and flatten slightly to form a cheesecake. I got 5 rather large cheesecakes weighing about 80-90 g each. Pour flour into a plate suitable for breading. Dip each piece in flour on all sides. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the cheese cakes and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Then cover, reduce heat to low and cook for about 10 minutes more. Put the finished curd pancakes with oatmeal, carrots and cheese on a paper napkin for a while so that the excess oil is absorbed. Serve cheesecakes to the table, complementing your favorite sauce.
Bon Appetit!
