Ingredients

  • 1 cup couscous (instant)
  • 2 cup vegetable broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ herbal salt
  • 4 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 apple
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 20 g butter
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 3 tablespoon crème fraîche
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 100 g cheese, rated (Emmental, mozzarella, )
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Let the couscous swell with the broth and season with herbal salt. Halve the peppers lengthways and core. Peel and core the apple. Dice the apple and onion.
  2. Heat the butter in a pan, fry the onions until translucent, add the water and crème fraîche, season with curry, salt and pepper. Steam everything for 5 minutes. Add the couscous, the apple cubes and the cheese and stir well, season to taste. Pour the mixture into the halved peppers, place them in a greased saucepan and bake in the oven at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes.
  3. Tastes delicious with mixed salads or minute steaks. I usually make a herb sauce for the children.
