Cranberry mousse is a delicious and healthy dessert. It turns out to be very delicate and airy, with a slight sourness. Making cranberry mousse is very easy and with just three ingredients.
Servings: 5
Ingredients
Cranberries – 200 g
Sugar – 200 g
Semolina – 60 g (4 tablespoons)
Water – 450 ml
Directions
Prepare all the ingredients you need. Sort the berries, wash and dry.
Pass the berries through a meat grinder and squeeze the juice. No juice is required for further preparation.
Pour water into a saucepan and add cranberry cake. Put on fire, bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Strain the mixture through a fine sieve and squeeze. The cake is no longer required.
Continuing to cook, add sugar and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Pour the semolina in a thin stream, stirring constantly.
Continue simmering for 15 minutes, until thickened. Cool the cranberry mass completely.
Transfer the cooled mixture to a mixer bowl and beat on high speed for about 7-10 minutes. The mass should become airy.
Spread the resulting mousse over the bowls and refrigerate for 4 hours until it solidifies.
