Ingredients

  • 1 bunch basil
  • 240 g cream cheese, rainier
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 300 grams flour
  • Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Cut the basil into fine strips. Mix the cream cheese with the eggs, basil and salt. Add the flour and knead everything into a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and let rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Shape the dough into rolls on a floured work surface. Cut these into small pieces and use a fork to make a striped pattern into each piece of dough.
  3. Put in portions in plenty of boiling salted water and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Lift out and serve sprinkled with the parmesan shavings.
