Ingredients

  • 400 g veal schnitzel or pork schnitzel
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Flour (white flour)
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 medium onion (s) or more
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 2 tablespoon white wine
  • Lemon juice
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Wash and pound the schnitzel, season with salt and pepper. Turn in flour.
  2. Cut the onion into rings.
  3. Fry the schnitzel in the hot butter. Take the schnitzel out of the pan. Put onion rings in the pan and sauté. Put the schnitzel back in the pan. Then add the stock, the wine, the creme fraiche and a few dashes of lemon juice and mix. Put the lid on and let the schnitzel continue to simmer in the sauce for about 10 minutes. Season to taste with pepper, salt and possibly paprika hot as a rose.
