Ingredients

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 225 g cream cheese, room temperature
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 225 g banana (s), mashed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 280 g flour, sifted
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 90 g nuts (pecans), chopped
  • 2 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix in the butter until very creamy, then stir in the cream cheese. Add the white sugar and stir in the eggs one after the other. Add the bananas and vanilla. Mix the flour with baking powder and baking soda and fold in until the dry ingredients just start to get moist (not with the mixer!).
  2. Mix the nuts with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Pour half of the dough into a greased, floured loaf pan. Spread the nut mixture on top and pour the rest of the batter on top. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for 45 minutes.
