Ingredients

  • 200 g tofu (silken tofu)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame paste (tahini)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 piece (s) ginger, thumb-length, possibly more, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 teaspoon honey or a comparable vegetable sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar, darker, more Chinese
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. All ingredients e.g., puree with a magic wand. Carefully add the soy sauce little by little. The special aroma of the Chinese vinegar adds a lot to the taste of the dip. If the consistency is still too firm at the end, despite sufficient saltiness, a little water can be carefully added.
  2. I recommend telling tofu skeptics that they have just eaten tofu only after they have been consumed. Because then you are guaranteed to taste it!
  3. Goes very well with vegetable sticks, Asian finger food or hot and spicy new potatoes. Or just on bread. Caution: saturates!
