Crispy – Creamy Raspberry Dessert

Instructions

  1. Crumble a good half of the meringue into not too small pieces in a nice, transparent bowl and spread the raspberries over the top. Set aside some nice raspberries for decoration.
  2. Whip the cream until stiff and mix with the quark, also fold in the crumbled meringue (save the rest for decoration). Sweeten with vanilla sugar to taste. When it comes to sweetening, note that the meringues are also very sweet.
  3. Spread the creamy mixture over the raspberries. To decorate, add crumbled and whole meringues as well as the raspberries that have been set aside.
  4. Prepare the dessert approx. 4 - 5 hours before consumption and leave it outside the refrigerator (the frozen raspberries cool the cream sufficiently) so that the raspberries can thaw.
  5. Tip:
  6. You can add the decoration right after preparation, but it gets nicer if you put it on just before serving.
  7. You can prepare the dessert the evening before, but then store it in the refrigerator. But then the crumbled meringues are unfortunately no longer as nice and crispy.
  8. I prefer two-tone meringues because it looks nicer. (Can be bought in white or mixed in white and pink.
  9. 1 pack of raspberries is sufficient, but if you like it fruity, you can take 1 1/2 to two packs.
  10. Of course you can also use 20% quark, it doesn`t taste quite as creamy, but it is still tasty. This dessert is nothing for the slim line anyway.
