Ingredients

For the sauce:

  • 2 egg (s)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 200 ml sunflower oil
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 bunch herbs mixed, also less
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 pickle (s)
  • 2 anchovy fillet (s), marinated in oil
  • salt and pepper

For the fish:

  • 4 fish fillet (s), white, à 150 g, e.g. cod, saithe
  • Flour
  • 1 egg (s)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Remoulade:
  2. Hard boil two eggs, quench, let cool, peel. Put the boiled egg yolks in a bowl. Add 2 raw egg yolks and the mustard, stir with a fork. Pour in the oil drop by drop, stir with a whisk until a creamy sauce is formed. Put in vinegar. Chop the herbs, capers, onion and cucumber. Rinse the anchovies, dice them together with the egg white.
  3. Mix in everything and season.
  4. Fish:
  5. Dab the fish, flour, season with salt. Turn in the beaten egg, then in the crumbs, press them down.
  6. Heat the oil with the butter, fry the fillets in it for about 5 minutes on each side. Drain on kitchen paper. Serve with tartar sauce.
  7. 880 Kcal per serving.
  8. This goes well with mashed potatoes, potato salad or pasta salad.
