Ingredients

  • 3 egg (s)
  • 120 grams flour
  • 220 ml milk
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients into a smooth dough and bake in portions in a hot, oiled pan without a lid.
  2. Note: DO NOT ADD SUGAR IN THE DOUGH, even if you eat the pancakes sweet, the sugar in the batter makes the pancakes burn more easily.
  3. If you like it crispy, you can add a little less water.
  4. The oil in the dough is not a must but a Croatian insider tip that the pancakes stay soft and elastic even after cooling.
  5. We usually make double or 3 times the amount of the leftover pancakes, we roll them up with herbal cream cheese, put as much as they fit in a baking dish, sprinkle some grated cheese over them and let them bake in the oven. Delicious!
  6. Have fun testing, we prefer to eat it with homemade strawberry jam or with cinnamon and sugar. Also tastes good with milkmaid or chocolate nut cream, or with vanilla ice cream and freshly sweetened strawberries.
