Ingredients

  • 1 baguette (s), for baking
  • 0.5 ½ bell pepper (s), red
  • 80 g ham, cooked
  • 1 spring onion (s)
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 150 g ricotta, (alternatively cream cheese)
  • 2 tablespoon parmesan, freshly grated (alternatively grated cheese to taste)
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Chop the peppers into small cubes. Dice the ham too. Finely chop the basil. Clean the spring onions and cut into fine rings. Peel garlic and chop finely.
  3. Mix the ricotta with paprika, ham, basil, parsley, spring onion, garlic and parmesan and season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
  4. Cut the baguette into slices and bake in the oven until crispy.
  5. Then brush the slices with the ricotta cream and put them back on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes until crispy and lightly browned.
