Croutons with Apricot Jam

Croutons with jam are a wonderful delicacy that is prepared for breakfast by many housewives around the world for their households.

Ingredients

  • Loaf slices (thick) – 8 pcs.
  • Apricot jam – 3 tbsp
  • Cream cheese (room temperature) – 60 g
  • Large eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Unsalted butter – 2 tbsp
  • Any syrup
  • Fried bacon and fruit salad (optional)

Directions

  1. With a sharp knife, make an incision in each slice of the loaf, but not completely, so that you get a pocket. Mix jam with cheese. Put 1 tablespoon in each pocket. l. cheese mixture.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, and cinnamon with a fork. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tbsp oils. Dip the loaf slices one at a time in the egg mixture and hold in it for about 5 seconds on each side. Then raise over a bowl, lightly shake off excess liquid, and put in a pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve with any sweet syrup, bacon, and fruit salad (optional).
