Croutons with Garlic Sauce, for Beer

A very simple but tasty and crispy beer snack. This dish is not for every day, but in case of infrequent beer gatherings with close friends. If you are not too lazy and prepare aromatic garlic sauce for the croutons, the result will be no worse than in a good beer bar.

Ingredients

  • Rye bread – 200 g
  • Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp
  • Sour cream – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Fresh greens – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Cut the bread into oblong cubes.
  2. Pass the garlic through a press, chop the herbs. Prepare the sauce: mix mayonnaise with sour cream, add garlic, herbs and pepper.
  3. Fry the bread in vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Place the croutons on a napkin to drain off excess oil.
  5. Put the prepared croutons on a dish, salt. Serve toasts with garlic sauce.
