Croutons with Tomatoes and Garlic

O-very fragrant croutons with tomatoes and garlic. The oven will help to prepare such garlic croutons with tomatoes. And no one will have to ask for help to eat such croutons!

Cook: 20 minutes

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Baton – 0.5 pcs.
  • Cream tomatoes – 6 pcs.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Fresh basil – 2 sprigs
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon (to taste)

Directions

  1. Cut the tomatoes into slices 1-2 centimeters thick.
  2. Melt 20 g of butter in a skillet. Sauté the tomatoes for 1 minute on each side.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the loaf into thin slices.
  4. Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater.
  5. Combine the garlic with the remaining butter.
  6. Grease slices of bread on both sides with the resulting oil mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Place the fried tomatoes on top of the sandwiches.
  8. Grease with oil again.
  9. Bake croutons with tomatoes and garlic in the oven at 200 degrees for 5-7 minutes. (If you want crunchy outside and soft inside croutons, bake for no more than 5 minutes).
  10. Separate the basil leaves from the stems and chop finely.
  11. Season the prepared croutons with salt and pepper, sprinkle with basil on top.
