Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a wide bowl.
  2. Heat the water, butter, sweetener ingredients and nut butter in a small saucepan on the lowest setting while stirring. As soon as a liquid, homogeneous mass has formed, pour the contents of the pot over the dry ingredients, distribute well when pouring out. Mix well with salad servers or two tablespoons until the cereal flakes appear uniformly coated.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C, spread the flakes on a tray and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the tray, mix in the flakes, bake for another 10 minutes.
  4. Switch off the oven and let the heat escape for a few seconds. Then clamp a wooden spoon in the door so that it is just a crack open and the residual moisture can escape. Let cool in the oven, pour into a storage jar, done!
  5. The recipe can be varied very well: How about a crunchy almond muesli? Use chopped and whole almonds and almond butter. Fancy chocolate crunchy muesli? Increase cocoa content instead of adding chocolate. Fruit and spelled? Use 500 g flakes, puree a banana with a few dates and apple juice and add.
  6. You can pack a variety of ingredients in the crunchy muesli. Therefore, it is also well suited for recycling leftovers. For some time now there has been a slumber in the closet B. an opened pack of coconut flakes? A jar of honey that doesn`t want to be empty? A little bit of fruit juice? And so on. All potential ingredients for your individual crunchy muesli.
