  • 1 cucumber (s)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • Mustard (at least 1 teaspoon)
  • vinegar
  • oil
  • dill

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel and slice the cucumbers. Mix with the salt in a bowl. Let stand for about 30 minutes and then squeeze out the cucumbers by hand. This process removes the possibly existing slightly bitter taste of the cucumbers and they do not absorb as much liquid afterwards.
  2. Cut the onion into small cubes and add to the cucumbers. Pour the mustard, dill, vinegar and oil over it and mix everything very well (do not use any extra salt).
