Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 125 g butter
  • 300 grams flour
  • 225 grams sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • 4 medium egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the frosting:

  • 200 g butter
  • 350 g powdered suar
  • 2 tablespoon whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For decoration: smarties, red string liquorice, lollipops and gummy worms / sour fries or similar

    Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
    2. Mix the butter and sugar together with an electric mixer. Then add the remaining ingredients.
    3. Pour batter into cupcake baking pan and bake for 15 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
    4. Frosting:
    5. Mix all ingredients for the frosting together and then chill for 20 minutes.
    6. Then spread the frosting over the cupcakes either with a spatula or a piping bag. Then put the cupcakes in the cold again. About 30 minutes.
    7. Caterpillar & Decoration:
    8. Then arrange the cupcakes in a caterpillar. Put your head on the first (unfrozen) cupcake and put your eyes, feelers, mouth and nose on it. See image! Behind the head, i.e. on the 2nd cupcake, there is also an unfrozen cupcake to support the head. Put the legs on the cupcakes with the sour fries.
