Cupcake “Marble”

A simple recipe for baking tea is a marble cake. The cake is soft, porous, moist, with a successful combination of chocolate and vanilla dough.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – 180 g
    Butter – 150 g
    Sugar – 150 g
    Chicken eggs – 3 pcs.
    Cocoa powder – 20 g
    Starch – 20 g
    Milk – 1.5 tbsp
    Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
    Salt – a pinch

  • For glaze:
    Black chocolate – 50 g
    Butter – 20 g

Instructions

  1. All ingredients for the marbled cake should be at room temperature. Beat butter and sugar with a mixer for 6-7 minutes.
  2. Separately, break the eggs into a bowl and add a pinch of salt, beat lightly with a fork.
  3. Little by little, add the egg mass to the whipped butter mixture and continue to beat. In the end, the mass may separate a little, but this will not affect the final result.
  4. Mix the flour and baking powder separately. In several steps, add the dry mixture to the egg-oil mass. Stir with a spatula. In the end, add milk to the dough.
  5. Divide the resulting dough in half (approximately 315 grams). Add starch to one part, cocoa to the other. Mix with a whisk until smooth.
  6. My form measures 21×11 cm and a volume of 1 liter. Grease the form with butter and sprinkle with flour. Shake off excess flour.
  7. Put dark and light dough alternately. The dough is thick, so spread with a spoon. Immediately place the mold with the dough in the oven, preheated to 160 ° C, for 1 hour 5 minutes.
  8. We check the readiness of the cake with a toothpick or wooden skewer. If it is dry and clean, the cake is ready. Leave the marble cake to cool in the mold, then put it on the wire rack.
  9. Now let’s prepare the icing. Melt the butter. Add pieces of chocolate to it and leave for 2-3 minutes. Stir and cover the cooled cake with chocolate icing.
  10. Sprinkle with chopped nuts on top. Cupcake “Marble” for tea is very tasty, glaze with nuts complements it great!
