  • Cocoa powder – 50 g
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.

  1. Prepare all the ingredients for making the marbled cake.
  2. Beat eggs with sugar with a whisk until golden brown.
  3. Add melted butter and stir.
  4. Sift the flour with baking powder and add to the liquid ingredients.

  5. Mix the dough well. Divide into 2 equal parts.
  6. Add cocoa powder to one part of the dough. Stir for about 3 minutes. At this stage, you can already turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  7. Prepare a cake pan – grease the bottom and sides of the pan with butter. With a tablespoon in the center of the mold, spread the dough with a spoon, alternating a spoonful of light dough with a spoonful of chocolate.

  8. Bake the marble cake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Do not forget to check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer or a match – it should remain dry.
  9. Remove the marble cake from the oven. Let the cake cool for 5-10 minutes and then remove from the mold.
  10. Cut the marbled cake into portions and serve.
