Ingredients

  • 4 apples, sour
  • 500 g quark, (curd cheese)
  • 2 packs puff pastry, (rolls)
  • Raisins, to taste
  • cinnamon
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 lemon (zest)
  • 0.5 ½ pack custard powder, vanilla flavor
  • Sugar, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the curd cheese in a bowl with the 2 eggs, 1/2 packet of vanilla pudding powder, sugar and lemon zest to a creamy mixture, then stir in the raisins.
  2. Peel and grate the apples - if necessary, pour off the fruit juice, it should not be too wet. Mix the apples with the cinnamon and sugar.
  3. First distribute half of the curd mixture on the rolled-out dough and spread half of the apple mixture on top, proceed in the same way with the 2nd dough. Shape the dough into a roll and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Brush the strudel with an egg yolk and bake at 180 ° C for about 45 minutes.
  5. Tastes very good cold and warm.
