Curd-Carrot Cheese Pancakes without Flour Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the carrots. Send the grated carrots to the pan and add the butter. Place a skillet over medium heat and saute the carrots, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes, until soft. Remove skillet from heat and add 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of semolina. Stir carrots with semolina and leave to swell for 10 minutes.
  2. Combine cottage cheese and egg in a deep bowl. Pour 1 tablespoon into a bowl of cottage cheese. a spoonful of semolina. Add sugar and vanillin to a bowl. Stir and also leave for 10 minutes to swell the semolina. Transfer the fried carrots with semolina to a bowl with the curd mass. Mix well.
  3. Pour semolina on a flat plate (6-7 tablespoons). Divide the curd-carrot mass into 6-7 parts, roll each into a ball and flatten slightly, forming syrniki. Dip each syrnik in semolina on both sides. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Grill the pancakes over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side. The degree of browning of the cheesecakes can be varied according to your taste by increasing or decreasing the frying time. I didn’t fry the cheesecakes too hard. If desired, fried curd cakes can be spread on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Bright cheesecakes without flour from cottage cheese, carrots and semolina are ready. Serve them with milk, sour cream or jam.

Bon Appetit!
