Curd Casserole with Cherries

Delicious, airy, and fluffy curd casserole with cherries. It couldn’t be tastier!

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 600 g
  • Egg – 4 pcs.
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Starch – 2 tbsp
  • Vanillin – on the tip of a knife
  • Sweet cherry – 200 g
  • Butter – 1 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Grind cottage cheese with sugar, add vanillin on the tip of a knife. Separate the whites from the yolks.
  2. Send the yolks to the curd, mix. Add the starch and whisk everything well (preferably with an immersion blender).
  3. Beat the whites with a mixer until stable peaks. (To whip up the whites well, add a couple of drops of lemon juice before whipping.) Gently add the whipped whites into the curd mass, stir with a spatula from the bottom to top.
  4. We shift the curd mass into a mold greased with butter. Layout the pitted cherries on top, pressing them a little into the curd mass.
  5. Cooking cottage cheese casserole for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees. Curd casserole with cherries is ready.
