Ingredients

  • 1 sheet dough (strudel dough)
  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 600 g quark (curd cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon pudding powder, vanilla flavor
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 cl rum
  • 30 g sour cream
  • some lemon (s), zest
  • 20 g butter for brushin
  • 6 apricots, halved

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter and sugar well, slowly add the eggs, stir in the curd, then stir in the pudding powder, vanilla sugar, rum, sour cream and a little lemon zest.
  2. Lay out the strudel dough on a cloth. Apply the mixture at the bottom in a strip (leave a margin on the left and right) and place the apricot halves on top. Fold in the sides of the strudel sheet and coat all edges with melted butter. Carefully roll up the strudel using the cloth, place on a greased tray, brush with melted butter and bake at 175 ° C for about 40 minutes.
