Ingredients

  • 750 g minced meat, half and half
  • 400 g pasta (spiral)
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 4 tablespoon curry powder
  • 4 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 250 ml mayonnaise
  • 250 ml ketchup (spicy), hot
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onion.
  2. Put the minced meat in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons of curry, 3 tablespoons of tomato paste, 50 ml of spiced ketchup and add half of the chopped onion. Knead everything well and sear the mixture in a non-stick pan until all the liquid has evaporated. Crumble well with a pan knife and let cool.
  3. Cook the noodles in salted water until they are firm to the bite.
  4. Finely dice the peppers, drain the corn and beans well.
  5. Mix the pasta, remaining onion, bell pepper, corn and beans and add the minced meat. Mix the mayonnaise with the remaining ketchup, tomato paste and curry and mix into the pasta salad.
  6. Let it steep for about 2 hours.

  8. You can also prepare the salad without meat. Then 400 g of diced Gouda cheese is added instead of the minced meat.
