Ingredients

  • 2 sachets rice or 50 g e.g., basmati rice
  • 2 tomato (s) (I recommend tomatoes)
  • 2 tablespoon curry powder
  • 30 g butter
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
  • 100 ml vegetable stock

Instructions

  1. First cook the rice in a saucepan according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. In the meantime, cut the tomatoes into cubes or thin slices.
  3. When the rice is ready, drain the water and put the rice back into the pot without the bag. Add the curry powder, butter, soy sauce, salt, vegetable stock and the tomatoes to the rice and stir well over medium heat.
  4. Let it steep for another 2 - 3 minutes and then serve as a side dish, e.g. with meatballs.
