Ingredients

  • 300 g rice
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • some ginger
  • some oil
  • 250 g shrimp (s)
  • 2 tablespoon curry
  • some tomato paste
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 300 g crème fraîche
  • 100 g yourt
  • some lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. First you cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet or how you cook it.
  2. In the meantime, cut the onion, garlic and ginger into very small cubes and sweat them in a little oil in a slightly higher pan / wok over medium heat.
  3. Now fry the prawns briefly and add the curry powder and some tomato paste.
  4. Now delete it with the vegetable stock and stir in the crème fraîche and the yogurt. Then taste the curry with a little lemon juice and salt and pepper.
  5. The curry is a bit runny at first - so let it simmer over medium heat for a while until it has the desired consistency.
  6. Finally, just serve the cooked rice together with the curry on the plate.
  7. When I took the photo, I didn`t sear the prawns and included them in the curry, instead I added them separately. But I would rather recommend it to you as described in the recipe above.
