Instructions

  1. Peel the thread from the beans, wash well, chop (cut into small pieces). Place in so much boiling water that the beans are barely covered. Add salt, savory and meat seasoning and cook the beans until soft.
  2. Pour the broth through a sieve. Now prepare a roux with 1 tablespoon of butter and flour, dilute with bean stock and add 1/8 l of sweet cream. Pour the sauce over the beans, stirring constantly, season with salt and sugar. Remove from heat and add 1/2 tablespoon butter and chopped parsley.
  3. Serve with boiled potatoes. Matjes fillets are particularly popular with them, but you can also serve fried meatballs.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
