Instructions

  1. Cut the 8 rolls into cubes or alternatively use the dumpling bread that has already been cut. Pour the hot milk over half of the diced rolls and let them steep. Roast the other half in a pan. After the rolls are soaked in the milk, beat in the eggs and sift the flour over them. Then knead into a dough with a fork. Then distribute the roasted bun cubes on this mass and mix everything together.
  2. Now the bread dumplings are formed. Makes 8 large bread dumplings.
  3. Let it steep in boiling hot water for about 15 minutes. Goes well with any kind of goulash or the typical Bavarian roast pork.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
