Ingredients

  • 250 g feta cheese made from oat and sheep milk
  • 200 g bacon, sliced
  • 200 g date (s), dried and pitted

Instructions

  1. Cut the feta into cubes. The cubes shouldn`t be too small to be skewered. Reverberate the bacon slices and wrap one half around the feta cubes. Wrap the other half around the dates. Skewer alternately three pieces of feta and three dates and fry golden all over in the pan or grill on all sides on the grill.
  2. In my experience, the skewers taste best on the grill, but you have to be careful not to make the feta too soft. The recipe is enough for about 16 skewers, which are very filling. They are also delicious cold at the buffet.
