- 2 medium orange (s) or blood oranges

- 2 cl rum

- In a large bowl, chop pieces of orange and grapefruit (loosened fillets). Remove the core from the dates and cut the dates in halves or thirds. Cut the pineapple into pieces while collecting the pineapple juice, which will be the highlight later! Chop or chop the walnut kernels (choose the amount a little according to your feeling and your own taste) and add.
- Mix the pineapple juice with the cinnamon powder (doesn`t look so great in terms of color, but you won`t see it later) and add the rum. Pour over all the ingredients in the bowl and mix well. So that the dates are no longer tough, I let the whole thing go for 3 - 4 hours, which can be longer.
- Depending on the mood and the number of people, I sometimes also add kiwis, chopped pears and bananas, but only add these ingredients shortly before serving so that they don`t get mushy. If you want, you can also serve the dessert with vanilla ice cream as a sauce.
