Dates in Ham

• 200 g ham (Black Forest)
• 4 tablespoon sherry
• 4 tablespoon orange juice

Instructions

1. Core dates, cut lengthways and remove core, sort out dates with maggots, do not just cut out.
2. Mix the sherry and orange juice, soak the dates in it for about 10 minutes.
3. In the meantime, remove the fat from the ham and cut in half crosswise.
4. Wrap dates in ham and place seam side down in a hot pan.
5. Fry until the ham is lighter.
