Dessert “Glazunya” with Apricots

Dessert of pale white milk jelly and bright orange sweet apricot in the form of fried eggs. It turned out very funny and, of course, delicious.

Ingredients

  • Milk – 120 ml
  • Sugar – 4 tbsp
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Gelatin – 1 teaspoon
  • Apricots (small) – 2 pcs.

Directions

  1. Wash the apricots, cut in half, remove the pits.
  2. Pour 2/3 cup of water into a saucepan, add 2 tablespoon. tablespoons of sugar, bring to a boil, and cook for 1-2 minutes so that the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Dip halves of apricots in syrup. Cook apricots in syrup for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and cool.
  4. Dissolve gelatin in cold milk. Leave to swell for 10 minutes.
  5. Then put in a bowl of hot water. Add 2 tbsp sugar and vanilla sugar, stir. Heat in a water bath until the gelatin is completely dissolved, about 10 minutes.
  6. Then pour the milk mixture for jelly into any small forms (the most convenient are silicone ones) or simply into plates, with a layer of about 5 mm. Put in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
  7. Turn the frozen jelly into a mold and place it on a plate. To do this, dip the bottom of the mold in hot water for a few seconds – the jelly can be easily removed from the mold without damage.
  8. Put half an apricot on milk jelly, imitating an egg yolk.
  9. Decorate the dessert with berries and serve.
