Dessert with Cottage Cheese with Black Currant, Poppy Seeds and Cookies

Dessert of cottage cheese with poppy seeds, black currants, and cookies is a very tasty and elegant delicacy that your guests will surely appreciate. Layers of cookie crumbs, cottage cheese with poppy seeds and berry, and curd puree create a wonderful taste and aesthetic effect!
Cook: 5 hour
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese – 250 g
- Black currant – 150 g + for decoration
- Sugar – 250 g
- Milk – 150 ml
- Chocolate cookies – 100 g
- Gelatin – 15 g
- Lemon – 1 pc.
- Poppy – 2 tbsp
- Water – 80 ml
- Fresh mint for serving (optional) – a few leaves
Directions
- Put the cookies in a blender bowl and grind them into crumbs.
- Carefully, using a fine grater, remove the zest from the lemon, without touching the white part.
- Mix milk with sugar and heat, but do not boil.
- Pour over instant gelatin with water, leave for 5 minutes to swell. Then heat to 70 degrees until completely dissolved.
- Pour the gelatin into the milk-sugar mixture, stir.
- In a blender, mix 150 g of cottage cheese with lemon zest and poppy seeds.
- Add half of the milk mixture and beat until smooth.
- To prepare the berry layer, put the currants, the remaining half of the cottage cheese, and milk mixture in a blender bowl.
- Beat everything well.
- At the bottom of the glasses (mine – 250 ml) put 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of cookies.
- Put a layer of cottage cheese with poppy seeds on top of the cookies. Then – the berry layer. Next is a layer of cookies again. In the end, layout the curd-poppy and berry layers. The specified amount of ingredients was enough for me for 3 glasses.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours.
