Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 pinch (s) black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch (s) sea salt, from the mill
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg, freshly grated if necessary
  • 100 g cheese, rated, Gouda, Edam, Tilsiter or other hard cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan until it foams but doesn`t brown. Pour the flour over it and stir quickly until everything is mixed. Deglaze with the cream and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add the cheese and continue to simmer, stirring, until the cheese has melted.
  2. Keep warm for further use and stir frequently.
