by Editorial Staff

A dietary dish can be not only healthy but also tasty – this statement can fully characterize the dish, the recipe for which I want to offer you today. Pieces of fish with vegetables, stewed in their own juice, are a great lunch dish for adults and children!

Cook: 50 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Hake or pollock – 800 g
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Zucchini – 300 g
  • Tomato – 150 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (for boiling fish) – 750 ml

Directions

  1. Fish can be used with hake or pollock – this fish is dietary in itself, not fatty, meat easily leaves the bones. I took the hake. Cut the hake carcass into large pieces. If you take pollock, leave the fish in whole carcasses or cut it into halves.
  2. Boil the fish in boiling salted water for 7 minutes.
  3. Then remove the boiled fish from the broth and leave to cool.
  4. During the time that the fish is cooling, grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater, and cut the onion into cubes or half rings.
  5. Transfer the carrots to a saucepan, add water and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add the onion to the carrots.
  6. Put the fish fillet, separated from the bones, on the vegetables.
  7. Wash the zucchini, peel it if necessary and cut into medium-sized half rings. Fill the fish with slices of zucchini, salt everything to taste.
  8. Wash the tomato, remove the stalk, and chop coarsely. Puree the tomato in a blender.
  9. Pour the tomato mixture over the fish and vegetables.
  10. Cook the fish and vegetables first over high, and after boiling the sauce over low heat for about 25 minutes.
  11. Diet fish with vegetables is ready. Serve hot for lunch.

Enjoy your meal!
