Donuts in the Oven

When it comes to donuts, you immediately imagine a delicacy covered with bright glaze, which was certainly fried in oil. But because of the large amount of fat, you don’t really want to cook just such donuts at home. And you don’t need to, because we have prepared for you a simple recipe for donuts in the oven.

Ingredients

  • Milk 200 ml
  • Wheat flour 500 g
  • Vanilla sugar 15 g
  • Dry yeast 15 g
  • Egg 1 pc.
  • Sunflower oil80 ml
  • Sugar 80 g
  • Milk chocolate 200 g
  • Powdered sugar 2 tbsp
  • Hazelnut 9 pcs.
  • Pasta 9 pcs.

Directions

  1. Heat the milk, add yeast to it, stir until it dissolves. Then add butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla sugar. Stir.
  2. Add flour gradually, stirring the mass. Knead an elastic and smooth dough. Cover the bowl with cling film and let sit for 2 hours to double in volume.
  3. Place the dough on a floured surface and roll out a layer about 2 cm thick. Using a glass 8-10 cm in diameter, make 9 circles of the dough. Place all donut pieces on a greased baking sheet and cover with a towel for 20 minutes.
  4. Place the pipe pasta in the center of each donut. Bake them for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Then remove the donuts from the oven, let them cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar, then remove the pasta from the donuts.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and pour inside each donut. Decorate the top with a nut.
  6. Donuts with chocolate and nuts are ideal for a family tea party or a party. The beauty of this dessert is that you can pour any sweetness inside, be it thick jam or honey. It all depends on your preference.
