Ingredients

For the dough: (kneaded dough)

  • 180 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 80 g suar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 80 g butter
  • Pinch salt

For the filling:

  • 1 glass sour cherries (350 g)
  • 2 packs custard powder (chocolate)
  • 200 g suar
  • 750 ml red wine (Dornfelder), dry

For decoration:

  • 500 g cream
  • 2 packs cream stabilizer
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • cinnamon
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. For the kneading dough, knead the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, butter and salt together well and put them in the fridge for a moment.
  2. For the filling, bring the red wine to the boil with sugar. Stir in the pudding powder and add the cherries. Let the mass get cold.
  3. Put the kneading dough in a greased tin and pull up the edge of the tin. Prick the bottom with a fork and pour in the red wine and cherry mixture.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 160 ° C for approx. 50 minutes.
  5. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar and place thick dabs close together on the cake. Finally sprinkle everything lightly with cinnamon.
