Ingredients

  • 150 g lamb`s lettuce
  • 200 ml port wine, red
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar, (red wine vinegar)
  • 70 ml oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • possibly cheese

Instructions

  1. Reduce the 200 ml port wine to 40 ml. Mix with the red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Add the oil and stir in as well. The best way to do this is with a small electric milk frother, with which you can also whip up the milk for the cappuccino, then the dressing will be nice and creamy. We usually use the dressing for the lamb`s lettuce in combination with a cremoulin cheese, oven cheese and the like.
  2. In addition, jacket potatoes, salt from the mill and, if you like, melted butter.
  3. You can vary with the oil. I take a good sunflower oil or olive oil as a base, always mix a little pumpkin seed oil (small amount) for the variant with the cheese, walnut oil also goes very well.
