Ingredients

  • 230 g breadcrumbs
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 Salt and pepper
  • 4 tablespoon parmesan, grated

Instructions

  1. If there are too many breadcrumbs again, I make these dumplings.
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs with the egg milk and let stand for about 30 minutes.
  3. Steam the chopped onion in butter until it is really transparent. Add a little cooled to the breadcrumbs. Mix in the finely chopped parsley and the parmesan. If the dough is too dry, add a little more milk. If the dough is too moist, add breadcrumbs or flour.
  4. Knead the dough really well and shape it into round dumplings. Let the dumplings simmer in slightly simmering salted water. Cooking time depends on the size of the dumplings.
  5. Serve as a vegetarian dish with tomato vegetable sauce or with mushrooms.
