Dumplings “Zebra”

We continue to be creative! A beautiful and delicious recipe! Ravioli and striped dumplings, have you seen that? The usual cucumber juice made a miracle – colored the dough! We have already surprised our guests, try it too!

Ingredients

For white dough:

  • Flour – 150 g + for working with dough
  • Water – about 60-70 ml
  • Egg – 1/2 pc.
  • Vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch

For green dough:

  • Flour – 150 g + for working with dough
  • Cucumber juice – 60-70 ml (7-8 cucumbers from the peel)
  • Egg – 1/2 pc.
  • Vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch

For filling:

  • Minced meat – 500 g
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. First, we combine all the products for the white dough: add salt, butter, half an egg to the flour and add warm water little by little. We knead the usual dumplings dough.
  2. The first dough (white) is removed under the film to lie down. Meanwhile, we cut off the skin from the cucumbers.
  3. Grind the cucumber peel with an immersion blender, you can add a few tablespoons of water or a piece of cucumber (better chopped).
  4. Strain the cucumber juice through a sieve and knead the green dumplings.
  5. Let the green dough lie under the film for about 20 minutes, after which we divide each dough into 8 parts.
  6. Roll each piece of dough into a small circle. We moisten the surface of each mug with water and collect the dough circles in a stack, alternating colors.
  7. Cut our round puff stack in half and connect both parts, moistening with water.
  8. Wrap the striped dough in foil and let sit for another 10 minutes. Then we cut the dough into thin slices (2-3 mm thick) and roll out to the required thickness (like on dumplings). Cut out circles or rectangles.
  9. I use regular minced meat, dumplings. We spread the minced meat on the dough. The edges of the dough can be lightly moistened with water to mold them well.
  10. We form ravioli and classic dumplings.
  11. Boil ravioli and Zebra dumplings in boiling salted water in batches, 3-4 minutes after they float.

The color remains bright, there is a slight cucumber aftertaste! With sour cream fly away from the table in a minute! Cook for health!
