Instructions

  1. Put the minced meat and the chopped turkey meat in a Thermomix or a comparable food processor and puree or chop it very finely. Then the 3 eggs, the torn toast slices, the spices and the broth (we use broth made from homemade stock) are added cold and mashed again. Check the consistency of the mixture. If necessary, add some bread. The mass must be cooled down in the refrigerator.
  2. Now small rolls of the meat mixture are prepared with cling film, the cling film is pulled together at the ends. Store the cling film in the freezer for a few hours beforehand so that it is easy to process. These rolls are now boiled in boiling water for about 5 minutes. After cooling, put them in the freezer.
  3. The frozen Frikandel rolls can now be prepared in a deep fryer after the foil has been removed. To do this, heat the fat to around 170 to 180 degrees and deep-fry the frikandel for 5 to 7 minutes. Make sure that the frikandel does not turn too brown.
  4. Serve sliced with freshly diced onions and mayonnaise. Of course you can also serve french fries with it.
