Instructions

  1. Here are the original Dutch potato pancakes! They just taste great.
  2. Peel potatoes. Wash under cold water and pat dry well. Grate the coarse side in a bowl. Whisk the flour and canned milk together in a small bowl. Grate the onion and add the eggs and stir well. Drain the water from the grated potatoes. Stir the flour dough into the potato mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Gradually let the oil get very hot in a large pan. Spoon in the potato dough and fry the buffers for 3 minutes on each side. Take out, let the fat drip off and place next to each other (not on top of each other). Serve hot.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
