Ingredients

For the cast:

250 g powdered suar
water
Food coloring, in red and yellow

Instructions

Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and eggs until frothy until the mixture is white. Mix the custard powder with the milk and mix with the cream until everything is a homogeneous, almost white mass. Then stir in the flour and baking powder. If the dough is too runny, be sure to add a little more flour, it must be quite firm, otherwise it will spread. Using two moistened spoons, form small ovals from the dough on a baking sheet laid out on baking paper. You should get about 12 eggs. Bake at 190 ° in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden.
Mix the icing sugar with a little water. Retain some frosting and stir with a tiny amount of yellow food coloring and mix with the red food coloring, also tiny amounts, until it is a real yolk yellow. Brush the cooled eggs with the white glaze.
When this has dried, pour the yolk-shaped glaze on top. Let dry and decorate with bunnies, lambs and chicks on green grass.
