Egg Sandwiches

A salad of boiled eggs, celery, and onions on crispy bread slices is a great snack. To make your mouthwatering sandwiches even more appealing, don’t forget the green salad leaves.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Light mayonnaise – ½ cup
  • Dijon mustard – 2 teaspoon
  • Wine vinegar, white – 1 teaspoon.
  • Hard-boiled, peeled and coarsely chopped eggs – 8 pcs.
  • Chopped celery stalk – 1 pc.
  • Onions, red, chopped – ¼ small onion
  • Coarse salt, ground black pepper
  • White bread (loaf, baguette), chopped and fried – 8 slices
  • Lettuce leaves (lettuce)

Directions

  1. Stir in mayonnaise, mustard, and vinegar.
  2. Add eggs, celery, and onions.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir.
  4. Place lettuce and egg salad on top of toasted bread slices.
