Ingredients

  • 3 large apples
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 250 g butter or mararine, soft
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 5 medium egg (s)
  • 150 ml egg liqueur
  • 425 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Fat for the shape
  • Breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter the apples, cut into small pieces and drizzle with lemon juice. Mix the fat, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until creamy. Mix in the eggs one by one. Pour in the liqueur while stirring. Mix in flour and baking powder and stir in. Pat the apple pieces dry and fold in.
  2. Spread the dough in a greased bundt pan (approx. 2 l content) sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 150 ° C for about 1 hour.
  3. Take out and let cool in the mold. Then turn the cake over and let it cool completely again and finally dust it with powdered sugar.
