Instructions

  1. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar for at least 3 minutes until frothy. Add the egg liqueur and oil and mix. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture. Just stir until the flour is wet!
  2. Pour half of the batter into a cup cake pan or large loaf pan (2.5 liters). Sift the cocoa over the rest of the batter and fold in with the mocha beans. Pour this mixture onto the light-colored dough and pull it through gently with a fork.
  3. Bake in a convection oven at 155 ° C for approx. 50 - 60 minutes. The cake stays fresh for a long time and stays nice and fluffy. Freezes well.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
