- Rinse the lemons with hot water, press down a little and cut into slices. Briefly rinse the elderberry with cold water and then put all the ingredients in a large bowl, stir well and place in the sun or another warm place for 5-6 days. Stir frequently. When bubbles form, strain the soda through a strainer and fill into snap-cap bottles.
