Ingredients
- 1 ½ kg elderberries
- 1 ½ liters water
- 500 g suar
- 1 vanilla pod (s)
- 700 ml rum (pot 54%)

- Carefully pluck elderberries and cook in water for about 1/4 hour. After this time, rub through a sieve, then filter through a cloth, then filter again through a sieve lined with cotton wool.
- Add sugar and vanilla pod to the juice and bring to the boil again until the sugar is dissolved. Let it cool down and then add the rum. Fill into bottles.
