Ingredients

  • 15 elderflower umbels
  • 10 g citric acid
  • 2 liters orange juice
  • 2 kg preserving sugar

Instructions

  1. Let the elderflower umbels, together with the citric acid and orange juice, stand in a large saucepan with a lid for 24 hours.
  2. After the 24 hours, separate the elderflower from the juice and let the juice boil with preserving sugar. Fill into prepared jars while still hot and close immediately.
