English Meatballs Ingredients

  • Minced beef – 900 Grams
  • Breadcrumbs – 0.75 Cup
  • Mustard – 0.25 Cup
  • Ketchup – 0.25 Cup
  • Broth cubes – 1 pc.
  • Worcestershire Sauce – 1 Tbsp the spoon
  • Butter – 50 grams
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Broth – 2.5 Glasses
  • Salt, spices – To taste
  • Starch – 2 Art. spoons

English Meatballs Instructions

  1. Add mustard, bread crumbs, ketchup to the minced meat.

  2. Add spices and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Knead the minced meat well and shape the meatballs.
  4. Melt butter in a frying pan and fry the meatballs.
  5. Transfer the fried meatballs to a plate. Put the onion in the pan.
  6. Sauté the onion for three minutes and add the broth. Stir.
  7. Add ketchup and mustard tablespoon each.
  8. Pour in the sauce.
  9. Dissolve the starch with water.
  10. Pour the starch into the onion sauce, stirring occasionally.

  11. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes.
